Fork In The Road

A lot has happened over the past week. It's not really anything I'm comfortable posting on the internet. But everything has caused me to be forced with some pretty tough decisions regarding my future.

I am lost. I wish one decision was easy. I wish there was a clear right choice. But there isn't. And I am looking down both roads and both of them look hard. Both of them look impossible to face.

Forks suck, I'd take a spoon any day.

  1. Hey Amanda, lifes full of choices that like, Im sorry that both roads seem to be difficult. I'll be praying for discernment for you.

We just learned in church that a great way to figure out what to do next is to write down each option, and under it, list all the improvements each road could make in your life. focus on all the positives. and then spend some quiet time with Jesus. He'll point you were you need to go. :)

  3. Amanda, A month later, I hope you're feeling somewhat better than you were when you wrote this post! Thinking of you. :)

You asked what lake we go to ... in Chattanooga we go to Harrison Bay, which is outside of Chattanooga. In Alabama, we go to Smith Lake, which is near Jasper. We love our time at both lakes thanks to the generosity of friends!
